Meiling Opts out of Fashion Week Trinidad and Tobago 2010
Designer Meiling with 30 years experience in the local fashion industry, has made the decision not to show her collection at Fashion Week Trinidad and Tobago 2010. This comes as a blow to those who expected to see the designer collection at what some consider to be the biggest Fashion event on the Trinidad and Tobago calender.
Speaking recently to CFSTYLE.com Meiling disclosed that she has taken the decision in an effort to safe guard the integrity of her collection and brand. Meiling also had this to say about her upcoming line: ‘My collection is called “Noir” and most pieces were made using black organdy fabric. Black has always been my own personal colour of choice and I want to explore the possibilities and the immense freedom of using only one colour.
