As advertised, the event began promptly at 7pm, with President Maxwell Richards and wife Jean, Minister of National Security Donna Cox, and a few other distinguished guests interspersed with the attendees there to cheer on their favourites.
As the young ladies went through the paces – modelling their swimsuits, answering the various rounds of questions, showing their evening gowns, etc, – a number of hiccups occurred that had the CFStyle.com team wondering if no dress rehearsal had been done. To make matters worse, Pageant Director and Presenter Renee Cummings seemed peeved about the glitches and even highlighted some of them…going so far as to scold the backstage crew on more than one occasion.
