Divali Make Up Session

Possibly the most popular East Indian festival in the world, Divali celebrates the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness. For as long as I can remember, this Hindu Festival of lights has been a fascinating one to me. The beauty of the Indian woman adorned with magnificent gold jewellery and wrapped finely woven silk saris inspired me to create this look on model Rennitta Achan.

Organizers of the Islands of the World Fashion Week, stated a special focus will be given at this premiere event to a unique regional product and fabric, originating within the islands, West Indian Sea Island Cotton.
