CFSTYLE.com seems to be on the pulse again with the needs of the Caribbean fashion industry. In our previous article we highlighted the need to look at fashion carers. Seems the recent head of Fashion association of Trinidad and Tobago(FATT) seems to agree with this and has resigned her position in FATT and is calling for unity in the Caribbean industry.
We know our own struggles here even with getting designers to do interviews and to follow up with conversations. Over the next few months it will be interesting to see how things unfold, if any changes will be made. But we understand the position that many designers face and think that a new focus needs to be placed on the business of fashion. Those who want to get into fashion as a quick way to make money will fail to make an impact, however those with passion and commitment will make a worthwhile impact.
