In order of Bahamian Independence this week, we are thrilled to bring you this awesome photographic tribute by Bahamian photographer Alfred Anderson.
Under the maxim ‘Imagination before Reality’, Alfred Anderson is a young Bahamian fashion photographer with over 6 years of experience. He has grown to establish himself among many others in the fashion and photography world both locally and internationally. He has worked with models from Brazil, France, Germany, Russia, Jamaica, America and the Bahamas, over 25 fashion designers (including Bahamian designer Anthea Bullard) and American photographer, Ron Barlow of St. Louis, Missouri among many others. A former photographer at Missouri State University, Anderson’s work has been featured in numerous collegiate magazines. He has also contributed to the portfolios of many models internationally.
Notably, in 2009, Alfred Anderson received 1st place for feature photography in the state of Missouri at the MCMA awards.
Never neglecting his home – Freeport, the Bahamas – he accredits his accomplishments and talent to God and the country.
“The success of any good man is driven by his determination to succeed.”
