Pigeon Point, Tobago (May 25, 2012) – The much-anticipated second annual Tobago Fashion Weekend opens this weekend in grand style. Spectacularly set on Pigeon Point beach, the runway will heat up with Tobago styles, resort wear, swimsuits and evening wear collections.
The weekend begins today with the Fashion Park opening for retail at 5:30 p.m. at Pigeon Point. All featured designers, local artisans and jewerly designers will offer items for sale throughout the weekend. Then at 8:00 p.m., the who’s who in Tobago, designers and media will gather for a opening reception and fashion showcase at Pigeon Point. Tomorrow brings the first full runway show at 7:30 p.m. when 13 designers show off collections specially for Tobago Fashion Weekend. Sunday features 13 more designers from as far away as United Kingdom.
After parties at Dillon’s Sea Food are open to the public and Fashion enthusiasts and limers alike are invited to continue the energy from the runway on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
