Lindo Designs opens online accessories store with a difference
On November 1st, 2011 at 9am, Lindo Designs officially launched its online accessories store via Facebook . Lindo will be selling its items in minimal quantities, replacing quantity with variety and quality. The store allows its customers to truly be unique and stand apart from their peers, while still being trendy. Lindo’s mantra is to make Trinidad and Tobago and the region more fashionable, one customer at a time.
This store sells fashion jewelry, namely bracelets, earrings, necklaces, rings and clutch purses to women who are fashion forward, corporate or on a budget, and the men who love them. Simply order your items online and have them shipped directly to your door.
Lindo is also catering to local and regional customers in a way that not many online businesses have done. They are allowing customers to shop online using their regular bank accounts instead of credit cards. How does this work? The store has opened accounts in 3 banks: First Citizens Bank, Republic Bank and Scotiabank; customers shop via tele-banking, mobile banking or online banking. If these options don’t work for you, they also allow you to use Western Union as a payment option. TTPost trackpacks will be used for delivery, allowing customers to track their orders.
To kick start the business, Lindo is running a promotion that involves one lucky customer winning a year’s supply of free accessories, i.e. a specially chosen piece for them each month. This item will be brought into the country for them alone; it will not be featured in any of the store’s collections. This way, the winner gets to be truly unique from the other customers.
