Celebrating “CARIBBEAN AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH”LANDOVER, MD:  Karib Nation, Inc. a non-profit 501 (c)-3 organization is pleased to announce the second annual hosting of CARIBBEAN STYLE & CULTURE on Friday June 24th 2011 at the ATRIUM @TREETOPS in Landover, Maryland.


Karib Nation, Inc. invites you to one of the most exciting events to celebrate CARIBBEAN AMERICAN HERITAGE Month.  In observance of the 6th year of “Caribbean American Heritage”, the organization will once again showcase the largest Caribbean Runway event in the nation’s capital, featuring the quintessential Caribbean haute couture designers. World renown Claudia Pegus, from Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica’s own Mark McDermoth and Karl Williams of Uzuri International, also Jamaican born supermodel turned designer, Lois Samuels, who has been featured on the pages of magazines from Essence to Vogue. Trinidad & Tobago born, New York based Francis Hendy; Guyana’s Patricia Coates of Pat Coates Designs and Michelle Cole of ColeFacts Design.


During what promises to be an evening of bold, brilliant and fabulous display of Caribbean style and flair, the designers will be awarded for their significant contributions they have made towards the development and economic growth of the Caribbean Fashion Industry.

The show is directed and produced by the gifted innovator and creator Guyanese/New York based designer, Roger Gary, who will capture the style, life and culture of the vibrant Caribbean Region.
