Look 1 – Daytime
This look is a natural one, done with pastel colours that are still vibrant enough to prove that colours other than brown and neutral can be used in the daytime!
To recreate the look, prime the eye then use a light yellow on the inner eye. Blend off the yellow with a pink and smoke the outer eye with a purple. Highlight with a frosted white on the brow bone and finish by lining the upper and lower lids with a black pencil, gel or liquid liner.
Look 2 – Evening
This evening look is a little more intense which makes it perfect for the nighttime. It was done with a gel liner as a base, which makes it quick and easy to recreate.
Base the entire lower lid with a brown gel liner then blend out the edges to create a smoky effect. Then apply a duo-chrome brown and green pigment over the gel liner for a wet, smoky finish. Highlight the brow bone with a skin-tone pigment and finish off wit a black gel liner and mascara.
Look 3 – Daring/Drama
Miss Trinidad & Tobago Universe 2010, LaToya Woods, rocked this look for Carnival 2011, which is perfect for a more dramatic effect or the more daring ladies out there!
Do a well-defined smoky eye, highlighting the brow bone as always, and then use black liner to create pointed edges on both the inner and outer corners of the eye. Finish by using the black liner freehand to create trial artwork on the outer corner of one eye to add extra drama. The nude/neutral lip brings the attention straight to the eyes, where it should be!
